The Association of German Libraries consists of 23 libraries: the Central Library at Aabenraa, 4 branch libraries at Haderslev, Sønderborg, Tønder and Tinglev as well as two mobile libraries and 15 German school libraries which are counselled and supplied with books by the Central Library. Together the libraries have about 230.000 media units - books, magazines, games, recordings, DVD's - and serve 8.000 borrowers. Approximately 350.000 borrowings are taking place a year.
